Winter Guide to Local Food

Pariah Dog Farm

The farm stand will be open Saturdays year round 12-dark. Discover a respectable selection and quantity of fresh veggies recently separated from the soil. There will be eggs on Saturdays. During the cold months the sight of lush green growth tends to be inspiring to me and perhaps to you as well. Please feel free to take a peek in the green houses. And join us at Bad Martha Brewery on Sundays from 11:00 to 2:00.

Winter Farmers’ Market has a new location!

In case you missed the news, Farming Falmouth was looking for a change in venue for the Falmouth Farmers' Market. We wrapped up our winter maintenance in time to provide a new venue. We kicked things off last Sunday and will continue to host on Sundays, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Green Dragon Farm for the months of February and March. A great opportunity to support your local farms.

We continue to harvest from our willow farm. We will have bunches available at our Farm Stand Saturday mornings during our Tulip sales. To learn more about the tulip sales, click here.

We have also been working on updating our online Farm Shop. You will now be able to pre-order single bouquets. Same goes for Instagram! Look for the ability to purchase directly from the Instagram platform.

Green Dragon Farm

Our winter growing systems were put to the test last weekend during the Polar Vortex. We are happy to report that our crops survived! Extra blankets and doubling up layers of frost-cloth was a game changer. Grateful our infrastructure hung in there too!
