We’re thrilled to invite you to Welcome to The Patch: Open Farm Day on Saturday, August 30th—a community celebration of farmland, food, and the future of farming in Falmouth.

Event Highlights & Itinerary

11 AM Gates Open

11:30 AM | Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Michael Kasparian

Blessing of the land by Nell Fields, accompanied by Wampanoag Flute Player Emma Jo Mills Brennan, as we celebrate this milestone with us as we officially open The Patch!

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM | Children’s Activities
Hosted by the Children’s Coalition—games, crafts, and fun for kids.

12:30 PM & 2 PM | Growing Together & The Homestead Garden 
Join our Farmers for demonstrations:

Harvesting fresh ingredients from the Homestead Garden

578 Locustfield Rd., East Falmouth, MA

*Please note that GPS is misleading; Drive north on Gifford, cross Brick Kiln Road, pass the high school, and cross Old Campus Drive. Look for us on the left.  The first property you see has a stone wall.  We are the next property, where you will see The Patch & Event signs. 

*Please follow the parking signs, and volunteers will guide you to parking and overflow parking.

5 MPH on all farm roads, please! 

This day is about celebrating community, conservation, and the power of local food, rain or shine, unless it's unsafe to be outdoors. We will send out another communication the day before with any updates. Bring your family, bring a friend, blanket/chair, and bring your curiosity—we can’t wait to welcome you to The Patch!
